Where is Chalkfest at Arbor Lakes?
From the North
Take 169 south to the 77th Avenue/Brooklyn Boulevard Exit. At the top of the ramp, turn right. Follow Brooklyn Boulevard, which will turn into Elm Creek Boulevard. The Fountains will be on your left after Zachary Lane, proceed past Hemlock Lane to Main Street and turn right.
From South/Interstate 494
Take I-494 north. Follow the signs and merge onto I-94/I-694 east. Take the Hemlock Lane exit. At the traffic light at the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto Hemlock Lane. Follow Hemlock Lane Follow Hemlock Lane to the Main Street traffic light and turn left. Follow Main Street until it crosses Elm Creek Blvd.
From the West
Take I-94/I-694 east to the Hemlock Lane exit. At the traffic light at the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto Hemlock Lane. he Shoppes at Arbor Lakes will be on your left and The Fountains on your right. Follow Hemlock Lane to the Main Street traffic light and turn left. Follow Main Street until it crosses Elm Creek Blvd.
From the East
Take I-94/I-694 west to the Hemlock Lane exit. At the traffic light at the bottom of the ramp, go straight to and follow Main Street until it crosses Elm Creek Blvd.

What happens it if rains?
Rain or shine, the festival will go on! If it is a complete washout, there will be a notice posted on the website as well as our Facebook and Twitter pages.
Will parking be available?
The festival is held on one of the streets of an outdoor mall, so there will be plenty of places to park. If the lots closest to the event are full, we suggest parking in the Government Center parking lot or the Maple Grove Library parking ramp. Both are just a short walk away!
Am I allowed to take pictures of the artwork?
Absolutely! Take as many pictures as you want. There will be opportunities to take interactive pictures of the 3D creations once the artist has finished. The artist’s social media tags will be in the event guide and on their laminated bio next to their creation. Be sure to tag the artist and us!
